Our publications

Books written for Haitian children, in their own language.

Six easy readers and an alphabet chart thirteen years in the making. Every page edited by Haitian linguists.

Why we publish

Our field research found rural classrooms with no books and no alphabet charts at all. So we found partners and made them ourselves. Teacher workshops around these materials drew overflow crowds, and independent evaluations came back asking for more.

Inventory update

Our printed book inventory is fully depleted, and about 50 alphabet charts remain. New donations fund the next print run, shipping, and electronic distribution of these materials. Chart orders ship while supplies last, and book orders join a waiting list for the next printing.
