L’Alliance des bibliothèques d’Haïti (HLA) est une communauté d’employés de bibliothèques et d’intervenants, à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur d’Haïti, qui s’intéresse à la promotion des bibliothèques, au renforcement de la bibliothéconomie et à la mise en relation d’employés de bibliothèques et d’intervenants en Haïti par le partage d’informations, d’idées et de ressources, le développement des capacités et la collaboration. HLA a été créée en 2020 en réponse à une enquête auprès des bibliothèques et des acteurs des bibliothèques en Haïti, et a commencé ses réunions mensuelles et sa liste électronique en 2021. Le HLA est une collaboration entre le Mortenson Center for International Library Programs et Partners in Literacy Haiti.

The Haiti Libraries Alliance (HLA) is a community of library workers and stakeholders, in and outside of Haiti, interested in promoting libraries, strengthening librarianship and connecting library workers and stakeholders in Haiti through information, idea and resource sharing, capacity development, and collaboration. HLA was established in 2020 in response to a survey of libraries and library stakeholders in Haiti, and started its monthly meetings and e-list in 2021. The HLA is a collaboration between the Mortenson Center for International Library Programs and Partners in Literacy Haiti.
HLA membership is free and members may access the resources in the password-protected area of this webpage, communicate through the biblio-haiti list, and participate in the meetings/presentations (or listen to the recordings).
